Opening-day honesty: we're a brand new studio, so these are self-initiated projects built to the same bar we'd hold any client brief. Real code, real demos, real repos. Client work lands here as it delivers — and some of those clients will stay at the chef's table once they see how the week works.

§ 04Our working rhythm · a template

What a delivery week looks like.

Not a diary — a template. This is the heartbeat we plan every engagement around. Some briefs fit a single week. Some run two or three. Some clients stay at the chef's table for the year and we run this rhythm every Monday. The shape holds either way.

  1. Monday · morning

    Brief lands. We reply inside a business day.

    Forty-minute call, one shared doc, one clear scope. If we're the right studio we say yes and start the clock. If we're not, we say so and point you somewhere better.

  2. Monday · afternoon

    Sketch, stack, repo, URL.

    By end of day Monday you have a link, a repo, and a working skeleton you can open. Nothing pretty yet — just proof the thing is real.

  3. Tuesday – Wednesday

    The meat of the build.

    Two solid build days. One short check-in each morning. No status slides, no weekly decks — just commits you can see and a staging URL you can click.

  4. Thursday

    Polish, edge cases, the small print.

    Error states, empty states, copy, the password-reset flow nobody remembers to ask for. This is the day amateurs skip and we don't.

  5. Friday · morning

    Handover and walkthrough.

    A thirty-minute recorded walkthrough, the README, the keys, the invoice. You leave the call owning a working thing. Bigger scope? The next course starts Monday.

  6. Day 7

    Quiet tune-up.

    One week later we sweep in, fix the small thing you noticed on day three, and send a short note. Included.

  7. Day 30 · or forever

    Follow-up — or a standing slot.

    A month later we check the software is still happy in the wild. Some clients wave goodbye here. Some keep a standing weekly slot and we run this rhythm together, all year.

Some weeks repeat. That's the chef's table.

How can you possibly be this fast?

because we're senior, curated, and small on purpose. What most agencies spread across months of kickoffs, standups, account managers, and handoffs, we compress into days — sometimes five, sometimes ten, sometimes 15 for the bigger meals!

What if my project is more complicated?

then we split it. The first course is the thing that proves the idea in one week. The next courses build on that. You always own a working thing at the end of each week, and you can walk away anytime without a half-built mess on your hands.

Can we work together long term?

yes — that's the chef's table, and it's how many of our best engagements work. A standing weekly slot, every Monday, for as long as it's useful. Some teams run it for a quarter; some have been running it since they opened the studio's door. Cancel any month, no contract theatrics. It's the cheapest way to have a senior studio on speed-dial.

How much of my time does this take?

about forty minutes on Monday, two ten-minute check-ins midweek, thirty minutes on Friday. We do the building; you do the deciding.

What if I already have a team?

even better. We slot in as the extra pair of senior hands that finishes the thing your team keeps putting off, and hand it over in a shape they can own. Some teams keep us on retainer for exactly this — a standing weekly slot to clear the backlog one week at a time.
